Let me start by saying that Ms. Blue’s collection was my first foray into the wild world of erotica. Let me follow that by saying that I was wholly impressed with what I discovered. Ms. Blue’s collection was not the trashy, porn-based smut I was expecting it to be.

Best Women’s Erotica 2012 is collection of 18 stories from established writers. The plot lines range from the relatively tame (pulling out of a traffic jam to pleasure yourself) to the totally out there and controversial topic of sex with a doll. Not every story was my cup of tea exactly; but each one managed to seriously peak my interest level… and some even got me a little hot in the seat. I can see where the genre’s appeal comes from.

I commend Ms. Violet Blue for gathering and editing a collection of such well written and intelligent tales for this erotica newcomer. I look forward to seeing what she comes out with next!
